The title might seem weird or exaggerated… but you might be in for a surprise.
Muslims actually believe that they can avoid hell by killing.
According to the Quran, all Muslims will spend time in hell for their sins.
After paying the price, they will then be welcomed into the Islamic Paradise, where they will have eternal erections and eat whatever they want without going to the toilet.

Most Muslims, will go to hell first and then to Jannah, but there are exceptions to this rule, and as you already guessed…
Muhammad made an exception for prophets (ie. himself) and for anyone dying in battle for the cause of Allah’s religion.
By “dying in battle for the cause of Allah”, Mohammed means killing yourself for Allah.

Before we get into the actual verses of the Quran, where Mohammed tells his followers that they can avoid hell by killing — we need to keep a few things in mind:
According to Quran Surah Al-Baqarah 2:85:
“Do you believe in some of the Scripture and reject the rest? Is there any reward for those who do so among you other than disgrace in this worldly life and being subjected to the harshest punishment on the Day of Judgment? For Allah is never unaware of what you do.”
All Muslims must respect the whole Quran, and are not allowed to cherry-pick certain verses that they want to follow, and reject others out of convenience.
For them, it is mandatory to keep the entire Quran, or face “the harshest punishment on the Day of Judgment”.
In the Quran, at Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:48 we can read:
“So judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their desires over the truth that has come to you. To each of you We have ordained a code of law and a way of life.”
Muslims strongly believed that they are ordained to follow the Sharia Law and the Sunnah, to emulate Mohammed’s way of life.
We can find this in Surah Al-Ahzab 33:36
“It is not for a believing man or woman—when Allah and His Messenger decree a matter—to have any other choice in that matter. Indeed, whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has clearly gone ˹far˺ astray.”
Please notice that Mohamed, is always mentioned as final authority.
Muslims believe that Allah said to them: “Whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger (Mohamed) has clearly gone FAR astray.”
In Islam, when you are gone far astray, it is grave sin, and you can as well be killed.
Some people might say that not all Muslims are like this and not all of them follow Prophet Mohamed’s way of life (Sunnah) but this couldn’t be more wrong.
90% of all Muslims in the world, are Sunni Muslims, which means they keep the Quran, Sharia Law and the Sunnah (way of like of Mohamed) as their moral compass.
Now let’s get into the actual Quran, Hadith, and Sira verses:
Quran
If we take together Surah 69 Al-Haqqah, and verses from Surah 84 Al-Inshiqaq 7-12 we will get a glimpse of how Muslims envision the Judgment Day, where they will be given sentences based on their deed.
According to Quran, Syran Maryam 19:70-72:
“And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there.”
No person will avoid going to hell, but Muslims will eventually be pulled out.
Then, in Quran, Surah An-Nisa 4:95
“Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons.
Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home).
Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward.”
Mohammed lets us know that Allah holds in higher regards the Muslims who donate money for war, fight and die in Jihad. (their “Holy” War)
Non-violent Muslims will not receive the same rewards as the Jihadis, and are considered inferior because they are not involved in war.
This is in particular extremely problematic considering that they MUST believe this to be true, and if they don’t – according to Sharia Law, they are considered an apostate, and can be killed.

Quran, Surah Al-Anfal 8:15-16
“O ye who believe! When ye meet the Unbelievers in hostile array, never turn your backs to them.
If any do turn his back to them on such a day – unless it be in a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own)- he draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and his abode is Hell,- an evil refuge (indeed)!”
Not only does Muhammad lay down the principle that a Muslim can serve time in Hell, but they may find themselves there for neglecting to kill unbelievers when directed to do so.
I’m wondering why there is such an accent on killing non-Muslims and people who don’t give authority to Mohammed. Looks like Allah himself is inferior to Mohammed.
Quran, Surah At-Tawbah 9:39
“If ye go not forth He will afflict you with a painful doom…”
It isn’t enough to believe. Muhammad is telling his soldiers (who do not want to fight) that they will be sent to hell if they do not join the battle.
Quran, Surah Ali ‘Imran 3:169-170
“Think not of those who are slain in Allah’s way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord;
They rejoice in the bounty provided by Allah: And with regard to those left behind, who have not yet joined them (in their bliss), the (Martyrs) glory in the fact that on them is no fear, nor have they (cause to) grieve.”
Martyrs go directly from life to paradise, where they wait for those who must first go through the Day of Judgment.
The quotes above are from the Quran, which according to Muslims “It is memorized by millions, and they know it as the back of their hand”
Even children are taught from a young age to memorize it.
So they can’t act like they don’t know all these things.
Now let’s get into the Hadith and Sira:
Hadith and Sira
Sahih Muslim Book 020, Number 4678
It has been reported on the authority of Jabir that a man said: “Messenger of Allah, where shall I be if I am killed?” He replied: “In Paradise.” The man threw away the dates he had in his hand and fought until he was killed (i. e. he did not wait until he could finish the dates).
Sahih Muslim Book 020, Number 4649
The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: ‘All the sins of a Shahid (martyr) are forgiven except debt.
So you can kill yourself in war, but first give the Prophet the money you borrowed, otherwise you will burn in hell for them – besides the debt, all your sins are forgiven.
Abu Dawud (14:2515)
I asked the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him): Who are in Paradise? He replied: “Prophets are in Paradise, martyrs are in Paradise.”
Conclusions
According to the Prophet Mohammed, who received revelations from Allah and not himself or a demon (sarcasm), the only sure path to paradise is through Jihad.
Martyrdom in Christianity, for example, represents being persecuted and killed for your Faith and confession of Jesus Christ as the True God and Messiah, and you are even strongly discouraged to kill.
“Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. – Matthew 26:52
In Islam, however, you are encouraged to go on “the fast track to Paradise” by persecuting and killing Kuffar. (non-Muslims and enemies of Islam)
In 2015, Jamaican cleric, Abdullah al-Faisal, told his followers that killing is the only sure way for sinning Muslims to avoid Hell:
“Some people are so sinful, after living in Dar ul-Harb (Land of War precisely The West) for many years, the only way they can go to Paradise is for them to die on the battlefield fighting for Allah. When you go to the battlefield and you kill the kuffar (non-Muslims), they shall take your place in the hellfire.”

Some Muslims go as far as chanting “Sharia” in the street of London and other UK cities, and talking about how much they love death:

Brethren, we need to be strong, and we MUST educate our families, friends and community about Islam.
We need to take care of our families, friends, cities, and countries.
Stay strong in faith, and do everything out of love.
There’s no place for hate in our hearts. So as long as we can, let’s try to educate our Muslim brothers and sisters, instead of judging them.
They are also humans like us, created in the Image of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Remember, don’t judge them, help them while being cautious about all these things that Mohammed and their religious leaders brainwashed them to believe.
“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.” – Matthew 7:1-2
I know it’s hard, but peace is the number one objective.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.” – Matthew 5:9
“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”- John 14:27
Do not allow them to sin, by harming and oppressing you – but at the same time don’t harm and oppress them. (self-defense is justified)
