In Christianity and Judaism, Heaven, regarded as the ultimate communion with God, and it is what saves us from nihilism and the slavery to our own flesh.
We aim towards Heaven, with all our consciousness and our whole being at all times, or at least that is the goal.
Sometimes we miss the target, and sin… but the perpetual fight against sin and our bodily desires is what moves us closer to God & allows us to do works that please God.
The Quran’s version of paradise is not the ultimate communion with God that is portrayed in Christianity, but the ultimate gratification of earthly desires.
When Jannah (Islamic Paradise) is described, the emphasis is always on gluttony and sex, with little hints of the pleasure Muslims will have by making fun of non-believers as they suffer in Hell.
While Christian theologians study spiritual transformation and moral perfection, their Muslim counterparts speak of eternal erections and the ability to eat endlessly without excretion.
Let’s get into the exact verses from the Quran, and then we will talk about why Mohammed decided to say these things.
For context, Muslims believe the Quran is the direct and unaltered speech of Allah, recited by Mohammed — so it is divine and not written by humans.
The following Quran verses will depict Islamic paradise as some sort of place there you can eat or drink as much as you want without having to use the toilet:
Quran, Surah Muhammad 47:15:
The description of the Paradise promised to the righteous is that in it are rivers of fresh water, rivers of milk that never changes in taste, rivers of wine delicious to drink, and rivers of pure honey. There they will ˹also˺ have all kinds of fruit, and forgiveness from their Lord. ˹Can they be˺ like those who will stay in the Fire forever, left to drink boiling water that will tear apart their insides?
Quran, Surah At-Tur 52:17-23:
Indeed, the righteous will be in Gardens and bliss, enjoying whatever their Lord will have granted them. And their Lord will have protected them from the torment of the Hellfire.
˹They will be told,˺ “Eat and drink happily for what you used to do.”
They will be reclining on thrones, ˹neatly˺ lined up ˹facing each other˺. And We will pair them to maidens with gorgeous eyes.
As for those who believe and whose descendants follow them in faith, We will elevate their descendants to their rank, never discounting anything ˹of the reward˺ of their deeds. Every person will reap only what they sowed.1
And We will ˹continually˺ provide them with whatever fruit or meat they desire.
They will pass around to each other a drink ˹of pure wine,˺ which leads to no idle talk or sinfulness.
Quran, Surah Al-Waqi’ah 56:17-24:
They will be waited on by eternal youths with cups, pitchers, and a drink ˹of pure wine˺ from a flowing stream, that will cause them neither headache nor intoxication.
˹They will also be served˺ any fruit they choose and meat from any bird they desire.
And ˹they will have˺ maidens with gorgeous eyes, like pristine pearls, ˹all˺ as a reward for what they used to do.
The next verses will be about the intimate relationships Muslims will have in heaven, and the description of their partners:
Quran, Surah Ad-Dukhan 44:54:
So it will be. And We will marry them to maidens with gorgeous eyes.
Quran, Surah Ar-Rahman 55:54-58:
Those ˹believers˺ will recline on furnishings lined with rich brocade. And the fruit of both Gardens will hang within reach.
In both ˹Gardens˺ will be maidens of modest gaze, who no human or jinn has ever touched before.
Those ˹maidens˺ will be ˹as elegant˺ as rubies and coral.
Quran, Surah Ar-Rahman 55:70-77:
In all Gardens will be noble, pleasant mates.
˹They will be˺ maidens with gorgeous eyes, reserved in pavilions.
No human or jinn has ever touched these ˹maidens˺ before.
Quran, Surah Al-Waqi’ah 56:35-37:
Indeed, We will have perfectly created their mates, making them virgins, loving and of equal age (…)
Quran, Surah An-Naba 78:31-33:
Indeed, the righteous will have salvation— Gardens, vineyards, and full-bosomed maidens of equal age
Now the questions comes, what if a Muslims man is married?
Is he still getting all those wide-eyed, curvy maidens in paradise?
Short answer: Yes!
Complete answer, let’s check some writing from Islam QA, supervised by Shaykh Muhammad Saalih al-Munajjid, because these scholars surely have the right answer.
“The scholars are agreed that he will have a minimum of two wives, but they differ as to whether they will be from among al-hur al-‘in or from among the women of this world.”
“The fact that a man will have more than one wife in Paradise does not mean that there will be any shortcoming in the joy and pleasure of any of his wives.”
So if you have a wife, in Islamic paradise, while you’re busy with the other women – she will be able to spectate from the corner of the room without feeling jealousy.
I am not a woman to know how well this is going to work, so ask some women in your life if they are able to love someone that much that they can watch without jealousy.
But that’s not all! If you give your life for Allah during Jihad, you will received 72 women in Islamic paradise.
2 women from this world and 70 virgins perfectly crafted based on your taste.
Jami’ At-Tirmidhi, Vol. 3, No. 1663, p. 410:
Al-Miqdam bin Ma’diykarib narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: “There are six things with Allah for the martyr… he is married to seventy-two wives among Al-Huril-‘Ayn [virgins] of Paradise…”
Mohammed came up with this idea because he needed to motivate young men to fight in his wars. Most of these young men were teenage boys.
Let’s read something from Islamic scholar Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti (d. 1505):
“Each time we sleep with a houri we find her virgin. Besides, the penis of the Elected never softens. The erection is eternal; the sensation that you feel each time you make love is utterly delicious and out of this world and were you to experience it in this world you would faint. Each chosen one [ie Muslim] will marry seventy [sic] houris, besides the women he married on earth, and all will have appetising reproductive parts.”
This sounds like a pervert’s wet dream, and nothing like Heaven.
Now let’s check the verses about making fun of non-Muslims while they burn in hell:
Quran, Surah Al-Mutaffifin 83:34-36:
But this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers
On (high) thrones, looking (at all things).
Are not the disbelievers paid (fully) for what they used to do?
Quran, Surah Al-Mu’min 40:70-73:
Those who deny the Book (this Qur’an), and that with which We sent Our Messengers (i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone sincerely, and to reject all false deities and to confess resurrection after the death for recompense) they will come to know (when they will be cast into the Fire of Hell).
When iron collars will be rounded over their necks, and the chains, they shall be dragged along.
In the boiling water, then they will be burned in the Fire.
Then it will be said to them: “Where are (all) those whom you used to join in worship as partners
Islamic paradise sounds like the perfect lie you would tell teenage boys to convince them to sacrifice themselves in war… and that’s what Mohammed did.
His strategy of painting paradise in the most prolifically decadent terms – an endless orgy of sex, food, and aesthetic comfort – continues to motivate suicide bombers, convinced that eternal gratification lies just on the other side of martyrdom.

Brethren, we need to be strong, and we MUST educate our families, friends and community about Islam.
We need to take care of our families, friends, cities, and countries.
Stay strong in faith, and do everything out of love.
There’s no place for hate in our hearts. So as long as we can, let’s try to educate our Muslim brothers and sisters, instead of judging them.
They are also humans like us, created in the Image of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Remember, don’t judge them, help them while being cautious about all these things that Mohammed and their religious leaders brainwashed them to believe.
“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.” – Matthew 7:1-2
I know it’s hard, but peace is the number one objective.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.” – Matthew 5:9
“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”- John 14:27
Do not allow them to sin, by harming and oppressing you – but at the same time don’t harm and oppress them. (self-defense is justified)
God bless!
